community by educating, encouraging, empowering and inspiring women.
Our Purpose:
The purpose of this organization is to:
§ Identify key issues, provide information and program services, pool resources, encourage leadership and advocate responsible action addressing the well-being of women in our community
§ Provide a forum to discuss platforms important to women including the issues of self-esteem, healthcare, education, family, community, business, government, and humanities
§ Strengthen the bond among women in the Val Verde area and surrounding counties
§ Showcase and share the strengths of women and women’s groups
§ Explore the role of women in shaping our community
§ Serve as a catalyst for positive action through collective community advocacy
§ Educating women for the working community by offering basic computer classes, providing Spanish and English classes and job readiness workshops
