Embrace Your Beauty
It all starts with the parents. We as parents need to talk to our children about self-esteem, before the so called” beauty industry” does. Talk to them before the ads and magazines who stereotype beauty do. Let them know that each one is individually unique and they must love everything about themselves.
We have to change the way they perceive beauty and let them embrace the natural broad beauty in each one of us. Too many girls develop low self-esteem from hang-ups about looks. Consequently, many fail to reach their full potential later in life. The group Just Us Chixs has formed a group of girls and young women called ”Pretty Girls In Pink”, it is a cheer and dance team. But, the most important reason that the group was formed is to boost self-esteem in our next generation.
The “Pretty Girls In Pink” will be hosting several workshops during the year. Another main goal for these young ladies is to excel in school. Hope to see you all out there! Call us for more information (830)422-2242/(830)488-3839.
